Thanks to everyone who came to our Service Unit meeting this week. We really appreciate your time and hope that you got all the info you need to handle spring registration for your troop.
If you were not able to attend the April 12th meeting, you MUST contact Susan or me to get your spring registration packets. Remember, returning troops are expected to participate in spring registration; troops and leaders who are not returning also need to file a couple of forms with us (and should contact us anyway so we can help to place any girls who may want to continue in scouts)!

If you are planning to participate in the April 25 bridging ceremony, and you have not already confirmed with me, please do so ASAP. A separate email will be sent with details about the ceremony.
Girls 5th through 8th grade: please see the attached flyer and permission slip for a special Skate Night planned for Cherokee county Girl Scouts. Note the RSVP date is Monday, April 19 to skate on Friday, April 23.
Lots of enrichment training is available in April and May for Girl Scout leaders through our council! Classes in camping, first aid, and troop leadership are open. Go to the council website and click Training to get signed up for classes!

Our next Service Unit meeting will be on Monday, May 10, where we will meet for a celebratory dinner and end-of-year swap meet! Location is TBD, but start gathering your extra patches and pins, old uniforms and books, and any other items you want to swap with other troop leaders!
